January 30, 1973 – November 19, 2023

It is with great sorrow and regret that we announce the passing of our dear Fernando Gatdula on November 19, 2023 at the Grace Hospice.

Fernando was born in Mendez, Cavite Philippines on January 30, 1973 and immigrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada in 2015.  Fernando married the love of his life Zharon on June 7, 1998. 

Fernando was predeceased by his parents, Francisco & Aurora, as well as his father-in-law Ely, and sister-in-law Nelita.

He will surely be remembered by his wife Zharon & children Klayd (Ana Sofia) & Zien; her mother-in-law Lily; his brothers-in-law Allan (Sharon) & Michael (Leah) (Mika, Gelo, Zion); his brothers & sisters Martin, Leny (David), Felix (Gemma), Felomeno (Maylanie) & Vilma; his neices & nephews in the Philippines.

He was fondly called “magic” by his close friends and colleagues.  He loves to cook, sing, and play musical instruments such as guitar and piano.  He is part of the Couples For Christ family in Winnipeg. 

Fernando was a wonderful husband, father, uncle, brother, & friend.  He always looked after the welfare of his family, and a person who always saw the positive side of things.
