ADELE AHOFF With deep sorrow we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Adele Ahoff, on February 18, 2008. She was born in Austria September 14, 1908 after her father John Miller was killed in World War One. She immigrated to Canada, settled in Dominion City and later Overstone and Ridgeville. She moved to Winnipeg and married Charles Ahoff November 18, 1933. She was predeceased by her husband Charles; mother Sophia; son-in-law John; brothers, Adolph and John as well as stepsisters and brothers. She is survived by her daughter Shirley Henaire; grandchildren, Julie-Ann (Robert) Schmidt, Gary (Dori) Henaire, Darren (Lucille) Henaire, Charles Henaire (Monique Gauthier); 10 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Isabel Desmarais, Eleanor Worster; sisters-in-law, Sue Miller, Jean Ahoff, Janet Ahoff and numerous nieces and nephews. Rest in peace with God and Dad Until we meet again. Devotional will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 370 McKenzie St. Reception to follow.
