St. Gianna’s Harvest Ministry has established our own Parish vegetable garden. Our Parish garden is designed with the intention of providing some much needed vegetables to various organizations such as Missionaries of Charity, Bear Clan, Willow Place, House of Hesed and Bruce Oake Recovery Centre, that help to distribute food and/or meals to those in need around our city.
Working collaboratively with our Parish garden is a group of parishioner families that will grow an extra row of garden vegetables in their home gardens. The fruit of their labours will also be donated to the same organizations.
This initiative is not limited to parishioners, so please share this opportunity with friends and family who may wish to participate, invite them to sign-up and we can all grow together.
