We are saddened to announce the passing of Bernard Wilman, on Monday, February 12, 2007 at St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 92. He was predeceased by his wife, Moira, in 1984 and a daughter, Patricia McAvoy, in 1996.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Bernard Wilman Jr.; his daughter, Antoinette Huggins (Dennis), and his son, Peter Wilman, his grandsons, Mark (Brenda), Paul (Jocelynne), Christopher (Ying), David (Carmen), Craig, and Stephen; his granddaughters, Lisa (Garry), Nancy (Jerome), Suzanne (Benoit); and his five great-grandchildren.

Prayers will be at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2007 at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, 341 Munroe Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 16, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the same location, with Father Pierre Wood officiating. Burial will be in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bernard’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
