Apostolate members bring weekly communion to members of our parish family who are sick or terminally ill, homebound or in the hospital. The Communion minister may also spend time visiting with the parishioner to ensure an ongoing connection to the greater parish community. Communion ministers receive formation and kits to serve communion outside the church before serving in this ministry area. Members are first approved by the pastor and participate in a formation session before beginning their apostolate. Their names are then submitted to the Archbishop for approval and commissioning.
