Ministries of Compassion & Care
As the presence of Christ in the world today, the Christian is called to share in the vulnerability of others and enter with them into their experience of weakness and powerlessness. Jesus himself instructs, “Be compassionate as your Father is compassionate” as a radical call to the challenge of our faith. (Luke 6:36)
Those who participate in the ministry of Compassion and Care provide comfort and consolation to others during times of illness, mental anguish and spiritual darkness. The members of this ministry bring Christ’s hope for healing and wholeness by entering into relationships with those who suffer.
