On February 14, 2018,surrounded by family, Claudette, daughter of late Joseph and Marie-Ange Lauze, passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital. Claudette is survived by her husband Marcel; their son Richard and his daughter Keanna; Richard’s half-sister Michelle (Gerald) Pelletier and their children, Crystal and Christopher; three great-grandchildren; her sisters, Yvette Pelletier and Jocelyne (Eddy) Jaremowich; brothers, Reynald (Linda), Raymond (Therese), Gilles and Jacques (Susan) Lauze; her in-laws, Irene Heine, Kay, Yvette, Yvan (Geri) Brisebois; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin Street, followed by her entombment in Living Waters Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation. “May she rest in peace, finally free of life-long pain.”
