November 26, 1943 – February 13, 2022

With heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Delfin Cabal Castillejo, 78 years old, of Troy Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, on February 13, 2022.  Delfin was born on November 26, 1943, in Lallo, Cagayan, Philippines.  He was one of nine children.  His parents were Palmira and Pablo.  Delfin immigrated to Winnipeg in 2011 with his wife Perlita, and his two children Geraldine and Gelina.  Delfin is survived by his wife Perlita and children, Susana (Agripino), Gerry (Annaliza), Gary (Mylene), Girlie (Elmer), Melanie, Delfin Jr. (Rosalie), Glenda (Mark), Geraldine, and Gelina. Delfin invested much love and time in his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was loved dearly by his wife, Perlita, his eight children, his eighteen grandchildren, and his three great grandchildren.

Delfin was a man full of joy and laughter.  He was known to be charming and friendly.  Delfin was a hard-working and determined man.  Memories of him are traced with humour and laughter.  Delfin’s bright smile and optimism will be missed by family and friends.
