September 29, 1959 – April 12, 2021

Jimmy Ong passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021, after a brief battle with an aggressive form of cancer. He was 61.

Jimmy was born on September 29, 1959, in Manila, Philippines.  He attended the University of the East.  He held a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and worked most of his career in Manila Electric Company (MERALCO).  After retiring, he continued his career as entrepreneur.

Jimmy was a generous man.  He was so accommodating to his family and friends.  He loved singing in karaoke.

In 1988, Jimmy married Carmen.  They have three children namely Jessie, Catherine, and Johnson.  In 2015, they welcomed Riza as daughter-in-law.  In 2018, they welcomed their first granddaughter, Carmela.  Jimmy was very fond of Carmela, because she is the first grandchild.  He taught her how to walk.  In the summer, Jimmy loved to walk with her around the neighborhood.
