Mass Intention Request
Each time we gather to celebrate the Eucharist, the entire body of the church, consisting of both members on earth and in heaven, come into communion with one another through Jesus Christ. In this great action of worship, earth and heaven become so perfectly one that there is no distinction between those who live in heaven and those who live on earth. It is fitting that we join this great communion of life and love by offering up a mass in memory of our own beloved dead, for the repose of his/her soul. Often the mass is celebrated on or near the anniversary of the deceased individual’s day of birth, day of death, or another significant day. Mass offerings can also be offered for the living who may be ill or suffering, or in thanksgiving of a birthday, graduation or anniversary.
In the Archdiocese of Winnipeg, $10.00 is the customary offering.
Please note: Mass intentions requests are scheduled in the order they are received and are scheduled only during our weekday liturgies and Saturday liturgies, on or as close to the requested date as possible, with one mass intention allowed per day. As these dates are subject to change or cancellation on short notice, please check the “Upcoming Mass Intentions” page for the most current schedule.
* Due to the high volume of Intention Requests, we are currently scheduling 5 months in advance.
